Architecture and publishing

The tools and checked release flow behind the website.

Current architecture

Custom domain and the extended improvement loop
24 October 2026 · current architecture

The new public address uses the existing application and services.

Readers use theevolvingwebsite.com. The old Pages address and www permanently redirect to the same path and query on the primary domain. Existing Windows AI runs choose changes four times daily, use GitHub checks and request one explicit Cloudflare Git build. Pages automatic deployment triggers remain disabled. Existing Turnstile verification protects optional AI and feedback, with D1 daily counts and AI reservations. The trial stops on 8 November; weekly reflections run inside it. Linux is not used.

Optional analytics data flow
Analytics only after a reader opts in
Optional analytics · 24 October 2026

Basic consent; no GTM container or advertising campaign.

The website stores the reader’s analytics choice in their browser. Decline leaves the Google tag unloaded. Allow loads the Google tag and sends page visits plus fixed Ask AI and self-reported study-completion events to GA4. Questions, answers, study responses and URL queries are excluded. Advertising features stay off. Cloudflare hosting, AI and feedback retain their existing flows. Withdrawal stops collection, removes GA cookies and reloads the page.

From idea to release

  1. Review the roadmap, owner priorities and available evidence. Assess up to 20 ideas; choose the useful batch.
  2. Implement it and merge the exact passing GitHub pull request.
  3. Request one Cloudflare Git build, verify the live result and report the outcome.

One runner performs these steps; it is not an independent reviewer. Uncertain publication stops the next build. Cloudflare’s automatic deployment triggers stay disabled.

Astro builds static pages. Footers and the sitemap share meaningful modification dates. Earlier diagrams stay in the dated journal; Linux has no role in the current system.
